Very clichéd? Yes. But there’s no denying that Emily in Paris is a delicious show. With every character drenched in designer couture and every scene set in increasingly exclusive locations, it’s no wonder it’s become one of the most-watched (and most-talked-about) series on Netflix.
Yes, it’s absurd and frivolous. But that’s the charm: escapist fantasy at its finest. And one of the most charming aspects of the show (apart from the incredibly attractive lovers who somehow always seem to appear out of nowhere) is the locations. Director Andrew Fleming has chosen some of the most stunning and iconic locations for season 4, both in Paris and beyond. He told Netflix, “This season exceeds all expectations.” And he’s right.
Last season, we saw Emily and her fellow contestants head to the French Open at Roland-Garros, host an event at the stunning Galeries Lafayette department store, and go on a soul-searching spree at Monet’s stunning home and gardens in Giverny.
In upcoming episodes releasing today, Emily and co. leave Paris for skiing in the French Alps and a night in Rome. But if your heart is set on Paris, these are the hottest spots featured on the show and how you can experience them for yourself. Beautiful.
Roland Garros
Stade Roland Garros, or Roland Garros Stadium to us Brits, is the historic tennis stadium that hosts the prestigious French Open every summer. The iconic deep red clay court has hosted the likes of Björn Borg, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic – and in episode 1 of season 4, it was the scene of a passionate kiss between Emily and Alfie. As a reminder, Emily suggested the idea of a “kiss cam” to a client, which culminated in a dramatic reunion between her and Alfie in the Roland Garros stands. The next French Open will take place from May 19 to June 8, 2025, but if you can’t wait that long, you can also visit the stadium on a guided tour outside of the season.

Monet’s house and garden in Giverny
Just an hour outside of Paris, you can step inside a stunning impressionist painting at Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny. Gaze longingly at the magnificent lily pond that inspired so many of Monet’s paintings, admire the gloriously colorful gardens, then enjoy a guided tour of the beautifully restored house. It’s here that Camille tries to escape her heartbreak in the second episode of season four before Emily manages to track her down – and a dramatic fall from grace follows.

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann
No city break is complete without browsing the designer shops of a luxury department store. Galeries Lafayette is Paris’ answer to Harrods, with a magnificent Art Nouveau glass dome roof and ornate balconies. There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as designer outlets, from Burberry and Bvlgari to Dior and Chanel. In episode 5, Emily helps Mindy and her friend Li with PR for their skincare line, and the sample sale takes place in Galeries Lafayette. We won’t give away the twist, but it turns out there’s more to the face cream than meets the eye…
