Zoe Saldana joined the sheer trend at the film festival in Armani Privé with Cartier jewelry at the premiere of “Emilia Perez” on September 9. Saldana’s look was styled by Petra Flannery.
Cate Blanchett
Blanchett re-wore this Givenchy dress, which she originally wore six years ago, at the 2018 British Academy Britannia Awards.
Lupita Nyong’o
Lupita Nyong’o wore Gucci as she walked the red carpet at the TIFF Tribute Awards on September 8.
Grace VanderWaal
The former “America’s Got Talent” star wore a handmade couture corset by Liam Wilson Mackenzie and a black skirt from Desert Star Vintage in Williamsburg. The look was designed by Elza Khalife.
Elizabeth Olsen
For the premiere of “The Assessment,” Elizabeth Olsen wore a dark couture velvet dress from Schiaparelli’s fall 2024 collection. She paired it with pointed black high heels.
Tilda Swinton
Swinton was one of the few to opt for a lighter shade at the film festival, wearing head-to-toe Chanel, including her jewelry, which includes an 18-karat gold Chanel Coco Crush ring.
Daisy Edgar Jones
Daisy Edgar-Jones picked up the cutout and transparent trend and wore a powder blue dress with an asymmetric V-neck by Gucci. Her look was still by Dani Michelle
The 2024 Toronto International Film Festival kicked off on September 5 with a bevy of stars attending the red carpet premieres of various films. Katy Perry walked the red carpet for “The Cut” in an intricately designed one-shoulder black gown courtesy of Celine by Hedi Slimane. Margaret Qualley joined her “The Substance” co-star Demi Moore and posed for a series of photos ahead of the film’s premiere. The festival ends on September 15.
